Only is possible configurate one size, I I can't resize each column in a different width. All of them take the same width. But is better than nothing.

I hated column view for it's narrow columns because I often have lot's of files with the same \"prefix\" to their file names so there was no really efficient way of finding which is which.

I now have nice, wide columns everywhere. Wicked.

THanks for the info!
The only thing left is how to make Finder open every window in Column view.
Coming from Win, I am used to \"Apply to all folders\". Anything similar here?
Searching has dug that it was in Finder preferences, but is now gone.

Any hints would be appreciated!

Open a single finder window - then from the menu choose View > Show View Options.

There is a check box there to Always open in column view.
