I actually made faces - the same kind of faces one might make when watching a hockey player make an implausibly skillful play - and covered my mouth with my hand as I read this. Absolutely brilliant.
"We are sending complimentary t-shirts to Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie and Lindsay Lohan. It would be so awesome to open up US magazine one day and see a picture of one of these ladies wearing one of our shirts, and walking their dogs.
It will never happen. All the pictures I've seen...err, heard about of Paris Hilton, she doesn't wear any clothes.
I can't even find the words to express my feelings on this one. The fact that you can write a story about such a sickening industry and put an "Oh my God" look at it is frightening, although most likely true.

Maureen, Good gravy no. You were on the mark. Dark or not. Maggie said it best, it's enough to make the warning light come on and so many of use find it hard to believe these kinds of things don't and couldn't happen out there. Believe me, when I found out they were, and are eating aborted babies in Asia I realized I had no idea what was out there.( I still get nauseous when I think about it) Not that I've gotten to thinking, "Nothing surprises me anymore", but it's more on the lines of " What won't they do for money?"
Keep writing and making me think Maureen. I wouldn't come here other wise to post. :o)
