I think that it's more likely now that we'll get hit with a smaller nuclear attack. Although the threat of nuclear annihilation is not so great as it was during the Cold War, I think getting hit with a "dirty bomb" is still a very likely scenario. Scares the heck out of me and makes me wish I lived in a smaller town.
