We are actually in the market for a new digital camera, so thanks for the tip, I will let Brian know. Also, your kids are so cute and since the last time I saw Tyler he was this not so little butter ball it's nice to see a recent pic, thanks for sharing.

They are just adorable. I have an Easyshare 3.0 with 10X zoom (i think that is what it is) of course it isn't as cool as yours but I really like it too... It's very user friendly. Also have the printer doc, don't use it much. One ink cartridge does about 30 pics, it's almost cheaper to go to the fuji machine at Target.
Anywho...With Deann's great genes they should continue on this path of great looks!

Either Anonymous is Dan, or someone else uses "anywho"!
Matt, the boys are adorable. In spite of your gene contribution.
Seriously, though... have you seen Love Actually? The boy who falls in love is so cute and reminded me of Jacob a lot.

I confess, I am anonymous. I deleted old cookies and didn't realize my name had to be "refreshed".
Why did I delete old cookies? Well I am now (like betsy) becoming addicted to the show desperate housewives. Smart, funny, etc. so I was doing a search to find out more information about the first episode, which I missed and came across a site that was definitely NOT the show...so I wanted to erase it all from my mind, my computer, etc.
Had to confess to someone.

Thanks for the compliments on the boys! I have been on Matt to get a pic of them up, since it has been 2 years almost since we have seen any of you! Tyler was 8 months old when we left and he is now just over 2 1/2. What is strange is I have a kid who is going to be 7! WOW!
Betsy, I have seen "Love Actually" and I can see the similiarities.
And Noelle, you are not alone in your new found addiction! I never thought I would watch it, I watched one show, watched them all on Oprah and now I am hooked. I think Matt might be, too, by default!

The boys are very cute - It's amazing how much they change in a short time.
Now, onto the less important - Is Desperate Housewives less trashy than what the commercials would make you believe? After seeing the commercials for the first couple of epsisodes, I was scared to turn the show on.

Yes - I think it is much less trashy than the commercials make it out to be. Still trashy, but more of that tollerable trash, like when you throw out left over cake. Still in the trash, but still cake. Not so much the curdled milk dumped on top of the day old poopy diaper trash that makes you gag when you smell it.
It would be comparable to Melrose Place or Sex In the City (on TBS not HBO)

is there really such a thing as "tollerable trash"?
are we slowly being desensitized by the media most especially in the past 20 years or so?
as a society, have we watered down the standards of what is acceptable and unacceptable?
i'm not being judgemental or anything to that nature...i'm just very curious as to where everyone is when it comes to guarding our thought life, our minds and our hearts.

Iman - great point.
"tollerable" was tongue-in-cheek and I guess if you were starving for food, you would tolerate eating cake out of the garbage, but you're not going to find many people doing it. Although it is the #1 show on TV I think, so maybe that isn't a great analogy.

ok...that explanation just totally confused me. LOL!
so what i get from what you're saying is that it's tollerable to eat cake out of a garbage can as long as your hungry and this TV show is #1 in the ratings hence the majority of TV viewers in the US are hungry for garbage and it's tollerable?
i think i just confused MY own self with THAT one.

When I do step back and look at the content of the show, it is not good. But I think the ratings show that people in America think it is good. Iman has a good point, at what point do we say "enough is enough"? This conversation has made me stop and rethink things. Thanks!
