No way. You have the right idea. The smooth cool sounds of jazz and blues go with the smooth (or in Iowa's case, sharp) cool weather. I get the same way but cactus don't have leaves so I kind of miss the Oklahoma fall season.

I don't think you are crazy at all - I do the same thing. I think I actually need to confess to being more strange.
Sometimes I actually picture myself in a movie, driving down a tree-lined road in the fall with Jazz playing - as if anyone would be interested in watching a short, pudgy guy driving down the road in a Toyota Corolla.
I usually am awakened from my daydream by some idiot who dares pretend that I share the road with him (Of course he's just trying to turn, and I'm slamming on my brakes to avoid rear-ending him).

You got a degree in psychology? That is so scary.
And Chad, you're not the only one. Except I usually imagine myself in one of those crime dramas, and I have to remember exactly what time I heard the loud noise, because when the cops come a-knockin', I need to tell them so they can nail the killer.
I guess that has nothing to do with music, though.
