matt, thank you for that clarification
and KUDOS in making the "cake in the garbage" illustration work...i KNEW you had it in you! LOL!
i guess what got me probing deeper into the statements made was the fact that as Christ's followers we are held at a MUCH higher standard and the enemy doesn't usually use DEFINITES to beguile his targets(us) into compromising our values and our integrity. he uses MAYBEs and SORTAs and KINDAs to persuade us otherwise.
we're definitely living in the end times and there is no time for complacency...we're either hot or cold
thanks for your patience and understanding.

It's amazing how anything can become an idol in our lives, whether it is trashy TV, sports, vanity, the internet, we can begin to waste the most precioust thing of all, our time. I think in heaven we will be most accountable for how we spent our time.
Anyway, on another thought...speaking of TV that could go trashy...anyone ever seen the Seinfeld episode where George eats the eclair out of the trash? There is a whole episode on when/where/how something is considered trash. Now that is some funny garbage if you ask me.

Noelle, I have to agree, I love that episode although as I have mentioned in my own blog I am addicted.
Matt, thanks for being so honest. I agree whole heartedly, we eat way too much dirty cake as christians and I for one would like to stop wasting such precious time.
