I am torn by our long commitment in Iraq. On the other hand, the war on terror should be continued against determined terrortists. good post. Take care.

We have had a longer commitment in South Korea -
I for one am happy that Bush is letting the generals figure out how to handle this. The VietNam war was micromanaged by the people in Washington to such a degree that they told pilots where to drop bombs. Look what happened there.

pyring1, I was in South Korea with 8th Army in the 1960's. This is an odd place today. In many ways, the South Koreans want our military support an foreign aid. But, the younger people want us out. So, this is an odd place. Take care.
