Adam, I read your post and I thought for a moment that I had written it. I told my assistant today, that on a scale of 1-10, 1 meaning I got nothing done I needed to today, 10 meaning I got everything done, I ranked about a (-347) today. As a fellow entrepreneur, I think one of our traits that make us who we are is we are multi-taskers by nature. We're easily distracted. Shoot, we all probably have ADHD. But I think you're onto something. You have to block out uninterrupted, un-multi-tasking time. Otherwise, nothing will get done.

Haha, now I don't feel so bad knowing that you gave yourself a -347!

Adam,
Jeremy said he is a multitasker. I for one am not and can't figure out how to chew gum and walk at the time. I seriously have trouble with that. Therefore, I do get seriously distracted and often lose a lot of productivity. Time management and Money management are to areas in management that new entrepeneurs have to get better at. Great post!

Great blog Adam!
As for the distractions, wouldnt keeping an exclusive phone/email for business help you get only relevant messages on outlook? That way you wouldnt miss out on important emails, and avoid spam/personal ones while working.
