Adam,
you nailed it with this post. Something else in favor for younger people, is that they often do not let society's views effect their views of life. When I was working as an RN, and I talked about a debt free lifestyle and working for myself I was often told by much older and more experienced nurses that I was niave and looking through "rose colored" glasses.
Just one year later I can tell you those nurses may have been right about alot of things however they are still punching the time clock at that hostpital, most likely still in debt, and will probably never work for themselves. I on the other hand own my own business, only owe Uncle Sam some back tax money, and I look at my boss every morning when I stand in front of the mirror brushing my teeth!
As we get older we are more likely to get bogged down in life and settle into a rut "rat race". Often times it is easier to make changes when we are young and not as settled. Then one would ask how come more young people aren't entrepreneurs? I believe this is because we are taught to go to school and to get good jobs so that we can one day get a good job. Many young people are too busy finishing college and climbing the corporate ladder to realize the freedom of entrepreneurship.
Just my 2 cent...

Exactly Jackie. To us, entrepreneurship is the OBVIOUS choice but to many they don't even see it as an option. They are so focused on traveling down that school - college - work - married - kids - retirement track that they fail to even consider the other options. I'm not saying it's for everyone, but hopefully more will start to recognize it as an alternate path if they don't like the one they are traveling.
