Great post Adam, I found your site via our mutual spots on Tim O'Leary's blogroll and am glad for it. This post is a great perspective from our side of life as entrepreneurs.
Rock on.

Hey Adam,
I'm glad to see that business is going well for you.
I have a question for you. Shoot me an email when you get a chance.
Thanks.

Hi Adam,
Its quite interesting to read what you have to say about "normal" people pushing your buttons. I've always had the impression that these peeople would love to get into your shoes, and are only jealous that they couldnt do it when they could. Almost everyone dreams of being an entrepreneur, but very few actually do become one. So, to see somebody who has done it and is happy with the choice, reminds them to the easy choices they made earlier on.
This might be too harsh or something, but I think a lot of people might fall in this category.
Great going! Good luck with your ventures.

Devyani,
You make a very valid point – I didn’t mean to suggest that I get that from everyone. There are definitely many people who support me fully and I can’t tell you how many times people have said that they wished they were “young with nothing to lose” like me and could take the kind of risks that I do. I suppose that I hear it a little bit more than average though because of where I live. Albany, NY is the state capital of NY and there are soooo many good jobs with the government in this city that most people work for the state in one capacity or the other. For instance, my father, all of my friends fathers, and 2 of my 3 best friends all work for the state. They tend to think that anyone who could pass up the stability and benefits that they have is crazy. That’s where a lot of this post came from.
