Gravatar Great article. Overall, I think being "cocky" with the proper attitude can be beneficial to the entrepreneur. In order to really think that you can do the unimaginable, you need to have an air of cockiness. I wrote an article on this not too long ago http://cashcampus.com/ftt/2006/0...d-for-business/

Gravatar Ever watch Ari from Entourage? He's my idea of cocky. Seems to work for him - on the show anyways.

Gravatar Dave - great post on your blog. You really broke it down a lot further than I did and made some great pts about cockiness and how it can help the entrepreneur.

Gravatar Thats a good question you pose there. Confidence is always important and cockiness is ok when you know you are best to a certain point. Like your sports analogy when those players were at the top of their games cockiness is understandable to point of arrogance. So I feel to be cocky you must be at the top of your game and arrogance is the line you don't cross.

Gravatar i've lost chess games and futsal games, down to pure cockyness from my opponent!
