Gravatar Adam,

Did you get a hold of kiko after that article link I sent you? Sounds like you found another entreprenuer who you can bounce ideas off of and get some solid answers for your particular biz.

Gravatar Absolutely! Anybody who understands technology is not a good candidate for a simple technology product. All they will do is criticize it, point out "better" alternatives, claim they can clone it themselves in two days, etc etc. The real value lies in the person who has no idea how your product works, but knows it's a good value in terms of the use they can get out of it vs. the price they're paying for it.

Look at it in terms of another product - say, cars. If you're a car enthusiast, you sure as hell aren't going to buy a Ford Taurus or a Hyundai. But if you're like a lot of people who know jack squat about cars, you'll look past the downsides and realize that they are affordable cars which get you from point A to point B with no hassle. This is their purpose, and car enthusiasts would never in a million years be able to understand such a simplistic purpose.

Gravatar Aaron - I did get a hold of Kiko after that article you sent me and I can’t thank you enough. Even after a few emails I think what he’s told me will help me avoid some of the mistakes they made.

Anthony - you're dead on with the car analogy, couldn't have said it better myself.

Gravatar My answer to your question would be, Yes. Specially on the web, where all links carry a positive weight, mediocre publicity is always better than no publicity. It brings traffic to your site, and those visitors have an opportunity to decide for themselves. Good luck with iPrioritize.
