To answer these last few questions, I have a thousand favorite words. I don't like "meal, bloat, or pride" or anything like that, though.

And, I am pretty sure I use words emotionally. To me, words are inextricably linked to colors, sounds, textures, scents, emotional states, etc.

If I am face to face with someone, I'm lucky if I get anything to come out of my mouth without sounding like some kind of crazy person. My affect is usually strained and I am sort of dyslexic. When it comes to talking, what I mean to say comes out almost backwards or twisted. It's a true problem for me. I think that's why I enjoy writing so much, because I can actually say what I mean.

Today, the words swirling around in my head are lavendar, swish, plume, salt, blood, heart, and scalpel. That last one, I wish wasn't there, but I've yet to learn how to control my inner dialogue
