I like it. It reminds me of you. And if you persist I'd be surprised if it didn't take you somewhere closer to the sorts of things you admire in others' work. Don't stop.

I don't think it's any more contradictory than anything else, but then again, I think in dualities all the time, it dilates the brain for new ideas. Simplicity can contain complexity, the way a particular combination of words says more than the words do alone, multiplicities of thought in a brush stroke.

And the painting's lovely, like velvet left outside for the lichen to decorate.
