I didn't like that movie because it was too "defining moment" for me. If I believed my whole life was coming to a single head, I'd probably go bananas... I want more than that! I think his symphony was the lives he had such an impact on, not the performance.

There are always a million tiny moments in the son and a million tiny personal victories that we miss, mostly because we're looking for the big ball of light in the sky, and not the cracks in the clouds.

I think you have plenty of tiny symphonies or wee solos in a week. Seeing them is where you might not be as strong... celebrate the good coffee or the laugh with someone or the smell of fresh chopped wood or the feeling of watching some kid dig their hands in deep.

And if you really feel like you're selling yourself short on this, maybe it's time for a new gig.

Just sayin'.
