That's pretty good! My old high school is ranked 382 and the school where my sister was a chem/math teacher then assistant principal (she's since moved on to industry) is ranked 57.

What I think would be interesting with these numbers would be the cost per student which would of course need to be determined using "like" numbers. That I would guess would be impossible with the mumbo jumbo accounting performed currently by most school districts. I doubt many of these schools could pass an audit proscribed by the Sarbanes Oxymoron law.

Toni: Heh, audit a governmental agency ... and hold them to the same standards that they impose on us!! That's CRAZY TALK! Yeah, and if you look at the numbers, the 'poverty' number will probably give you a hint at what the budget is like.
