This whole bird flu thing sucks. I'm never sure if its going to blow over (sort of like mad cow or SARS) or if there's soon going to be armies of militant types ready to take away my birds "just to be on the safe side." Its not too surprising in the mean time that a lot of people are going to try to make a dollar from it.

Flemming: It has the markings of that wonderful pogram against the Elm when the Dutch Elm Beetle ravaged the land. Same thing with the Orange Canker in FL right now. The poultry industry will be obliterated and migratory fowl (Ducks, geese) would fall under 'public enemy #1.

There are pirated versions of everything in China from drugs to vaccines to food to books to DVD's to anything you can think of. If it's something I ingest, I stay away from the Made in China label. (And in case anyone is thinking of accuseing me of racism, I'm Chinese.)
