White Lightning Axiom: Redux Vitrol Roll Call

LOL That's what I love most about kids, the honesty. Lincoln logs were my transformers. Are children today more afraid? What is the big transformer obsession? Love your gas station photo. Do you know how many parents never ask their kids a single question all day about their thoughts on something? A lot. Was your dad as good as you?

Your diet, have you added up the sodium content? V8, Ramen, w/miso? Maybe a little chipping on the carbs will do it, you are so close.

Sometimes, when you write about the twins, I really DO believe they may be in a world domination take over! Smart little stinkers that they are...

Diane1: I'm a firm believer that Amish Hero Dad was the tops ... he learned a lot of patience at an early age. I'm trying to give my kids the same benefit of involved parenting and the mindset to be inquisitive.

Diane2: I took a peek at the sodium and found that due to my PROFUSE sweating, I need the salt. The Blood Pressure was so drop-dead sexy that the doc complemented me on it.
You know what is hosing me? It's the damn cheese.

Hi!
Not that it's any of my business, but why should that stop me.
I suggest you give up the ramen noodles and the gatorade. Have some of your cheese at lunch and a low cal drink.Have one of your fruits in the evening before dinner.
China is adding a million new cars to the road every year and India. Any wonder the price of gas is going up? That's the global economy.

I have been counting my calories as well. Even was brave enough to post a counter on my blog for all to see, how slowly the pounds are (are not) coming off. I have been using thedailyplate.com
and was amazed to find out what a portion actually was. It's a diet only fit for supermodels and jockeys, of which I am neither.
Let's not talk about paying 4 bucks a gallon for gas...my blood pressure can't take it.

carol : SHUT UP!!
Actually, thnx. The list is not in order of consumption, I just kinda eat ALL DAY LONG. I skipped the noodles today though ... and the cheese, kinda. It was pizza night - cheese pizza.
I had a pure fruit drink tonight instead of the salt-water as well.
Of course, PT kicked my lily white rear.

Miss Chris: It's a day-long adventure with food for me. Munchin-and-crunchin and just gobbling it all down.

Bubbie: Heh ... yeah. 2000 cal/day aint going to cut it for a dad of twin 5 year olds. I need a supplemental schedule ... +15% per child!

Having just embarked on a diet myself...ahem....I can offer no words of wisdom except to say, ditch the Ramen and get the low cal, low sodium or fake cheese.
I used to eat the Ramen as a kid and into my 20s (when God was a teenager) and add all kinds of veggies and shrimp to it. Yum.....darn it all, now I'm famished....

Gah.... That's a lot of food! Here's what I ate Wednesday (yesterday was a bit of an anomaly):
plain yogurt + ground flax + 1 spoon of preserves
1 apple
1 ham and cheese sandwich
veggie chips with tomatillo salsa (leftover from our party)
baked salmon and corn
100% fruit juice, tea (without sugar or honey), and water...
I might have had a few bites of something sweet --or salty -- but just a bit ... I don't eat processed foods.
My point is ... Eating healthy can just become the norm...

That's a remarkably healthy diet!
I eat loads of fruit, which is allowed on my diet, but which actually adds up to lots of calories. I don't understand it.
