We didn't start the 1948-49 independance war, and it's a fact.
We did occupy land which was supposed to be part of the Arab state, but occupation is part of war (and once again we didn't start the war).
This land is historicaly and rightfully ours. It's unfortunate that my ancestors had to go through the Holocaust, in order to realize that we must have a Homeland.
I'll do anything to defend it, and so will the Palestinians. So I guess we are bound to fight forever, aren't we?

sorry, I added a comment to the wrong article!!! I am glad to have discovered your blog-not superficial and attempting to understand both sides.
I requested from u sources as I read an article in a hebrew newspaper stating similar facts.
Many good Israelis find it difficult to accept these facts and I wish to show them in a pragmatic way that we do not posses white wings and a halo!!
We should bomb Israel because allah told us to do so.... ahahahahahahahahahahahahaha....
