I've just discovered macarons and I'm rather obsessed with them too! There is a chocolate shop a few blocks away from me; one of the owners is French and they make macarons. I'd seen them there for a long time, but had no idea what they were.I'd like to try making them some day. Yours look great!
I like the produce theme! The hat is adorable and I'm sure the quilt will get lots of loving use -- as it should, especially if it turns out to be your farewell tour, so to speak. I feel a trip to Target coming on, too ... such cute stuff.

Wait, you HANDquilted that quilt and finished it that quickly?!?! Damn, you are one strong woman. I made a lap quilt a long time ago and it took me a YEAR to handquilt it.

I just love the idea of an apple theme baby quilt. The material in the background gives me an idea of how it looked and I bet it was wonderful. The hat to go with it was a marvelous idea. I bet it all will be well loved.

cuteness! I tried french macaroons and they baked completely flat--no pouf at all. i followed the recipe exactly, so maybe i just need a new recipe. they were still very tasty though.
