Beautiful!
I know what you mean about lace. I gave my swallowtail away as a present, but I wish I didn't because I don't think they appreciated just how bloody impressive it was! I'm itching to try more lace but it has to be the right project.

Lovely, lovely!
My current lace shawl is on time out for the same reason. I needed to rip back more than I was willing to accept - yet again.
I hope my shawl will have the same happy ending at some point.

Lovely! Congratulations on finishing it up -- it looks so so pretty. I also gave my Swallowtail away ... but maybe I should start another one ...

Just lovely! Blocking really can work miracles sometime, can't it?
I like the juxtaposition of the tweedy, almost rustic yarn and the delicate pattern.

Wow Melissa - I'm so impressed. If, like your friends, you are thinking of giving it away . . .

I'm glad that you've finally blogged this, because it is something to brag about! It's so light, pretty and delicate-looking. It's a real accomplishment, you should definitely wear it with pride!

Lovely! You're so right about that *gasp* moment when lace is done blocking. It's one of my favorite parts of the whole process!

You did a beautiful job on that shawl. I haven't made a swallowtail yet. But I have made the flower basket shawl. I made it for my mother for my wedding last year.

I miss your blog. Are you coming back here or will I only see you on Ravelry?
I still need to do that FBS but am just finishing up a Baby Surprise (my first EZ project) and it will be a surprise as I'm not sure it will fit Ms.S. Making it toddler....
BTW- You got me hand quilting an apple quilt even though I know you weren't so fond of it.
Anyway, your projects always are so much fun.
Happy October!
