it looks like a fabulous trip! |
You had me at chocolate shoes. |
Merci, les fotos sont fantastiques! |
Love the architecture and the French lifestyle! |
This is one of my favorite neighborhoods in Paris! Everytime I visit I find myself spending time in Place Des Vosges and loving it. There is great shopping there too. |
I remember enjoying treats from Gerard Mulot when I was an exchange student. Yummy! And the chocolate shoes look fabulous! |
There is something so magical about Paris... its an unspoken feeling, so hard to explain.... its like a spell... |
Looks like an amazing afternoon! |
Gorgeous! |
Absolutely stunning photography! My favorites were the courtyards (for the architecture) and the cheese shop (for the cheese, of course!). Thx also for the tour guide tip. I'm always trying to escape the tourist traps. |
Certainly book worthy pics! Have you ever considered a preppy guide to Europe? I'm sure there are lots like moi that would sign on for the "Mel" guided tour. |
Oooh la la Marais! |
Le Marais is my favorite part of Paris. Such tragic history (many buildings have plaques that honor families that lived there, were deported to the death camps during WW2, and never returned), and now such a vibrant neighborhood. |
Hello - chocolate shoes - two of my very favorite things...I think I'm in luv...thanks Mel.!! |
Love the 'doors of the Marais' pics! Whenever I travel, I am drawn to the doors, too. Is there a 'Doors of Paris' book? |
Just dreamy photos Mel, brings back memories of my trips to Paris, while living in London...thank you |
hi melissa |
Looks like a wonderful trip! France is so beautiful and the food is to die for. How did you manage with the language barrier? Do you speak French? |
Did you try some of the white asparagus? It is one of my favorite european finds every summer. Although, it is starting to gain popularity in the states too which makes me happy! |
Richard added the link to your blog today! Gorgeous photos. Next time in paris come see me in montmartre, quite as charming and quirky as the marais (if u know where to look.) |
I enjoyed a tour w/ Richard as well. I plan to return to Paris in a month, w/ my kids. Love these photos! |
