Congrats on the press! Erin O'Hearn used to be a reporter down here, and she did some nice work for the nonprofit I was with at the time. Monty looks good on TV. They always say the cameras add five pounds, so it's good he stays in trim.

You know what, they just can't believe you actually love him. Chappy is very lucky. I don't think they are jealous I think they are astonished. Why wouldn't he want to have you for his wife, you are a terrific person.

I didn't like that the reporter focused on 1) you were Chappy's personal trainer, 2) the difference in your ages, 3) that Chappy is financially well off. It's not that she was unkind, exactly, but I think she was tacky and a little rude. You and Monty deserve better Mel.

After some thought I'd like to clarify my earlier remarks. The three points I touched upon, in and of themselves, have nothing whatsoever wrong with them. It was the way in which each was presented by the reporter. I just didn't like her attitude, but maybe I'm being overly protective of Mel.
You and your dog are the bomb(s)! No offense intended when I say that the fact that you fell in love with and married an older man is not even close to the most interesting thing about you. Puh-lease! Go, Mel. Go, Mel. Hey, Monty! Hey, Monty!
