And yet the look of existential angst Monty wears is terribly French mais, non?

It's amazing how our pets know when we're going away without them. The theme of his pose is: sadness, poor baby.
Have a great time!!!!

Well, Monty's profile looks great, just hate to see him so sad. Have a great trip.

Oh, he looks so dejected, sad and abandoned in the second shot....poor baby!

Such a sad face! My Ripley always gives me the "stink eye" when he is mad at me. Have a great trip! Kari

Oh, I know that whole sad scene. It's a heartbreaker alright. Doesn't matter how posh the destination is, you can never quite shake the guilt. Serioulsy, don't you wish you could just put them in your back pocket and to take with you everywhere???

He's not mad...he's trying to guilt you into lots of presents!!

You may be all planned out by now, but if you find yourself wondernig where to eat one night, try Le Timbre, over off blvd Raspail near Montparnasse. It is absolutely adorable and the food is wonderful. Last time I was there we ended up wishing we had eaten there more than once.

Awww...he'll be ok...hurry home! (he's thinking)

Keep the updates coming! Safe trip.

My cats get quite upset when they see the suitcases, too.

Monty just knows that Paris is a city that loves dogs! He wants to sit in a cafe with you. Bon Voyage

Poor Monty...he looks so sad. But this is a perfect time for Monty & dad to hang out some more....and get some quality guy time together. Enjoy Paris!!!

Jackson has his moments of "pouting" as well. He has to go to a Doggy Daycare on Wednesday while we have a service done to our home. He, I KNOW, will pout big time when we leave him but, I also KNOW I will see him on the camera running and playing with all the other dogs as soon as we leave.

I love when they do that, but it breaks my heart! Have a wonderful vacay, sorry we won't cross paths this time in ny. xoxox

Awwww! Poor little guy.

One time when I was back in the states, I went to a pet shop to buy a 'sorry I abandoned you' present, and the guy at the counter asked if it was a guilt present. That seemed an appropriate description.

My God, that is the most PATHETIC pup, I do not know how your legs carried you out of the apartment with the guilt trip he laid on you. He should be on Broadway; that is stage acting, so dramatic!

That little dog is super attached to you. How sweet.

Poor baby! My oldest cat goes one step further...climbs in the suitcase and refuses to get out.

They are just like kids, it's amazing. You know he's going to be so excited to see you when you come home.

Aw! My Pomeranian actually climbs into my suitcase (actually, my mom's standard poodle does this, too now that I think about it) when it comes out and sighs heavily. Breaks my heart!
