Take it easy there Sally! Do your research before posting. The Bush Family is originally from the East Coast (CT and also ME) and it doesn't getting any WASPIER than them. for political and business reasons the family relocated to Texas in the 70s. GWB were born at Yale (CT) while his dad was an undergrad there.

Tory Burch is a bona fide wasp people. Besides the "distinct preppy-boho look" of her designs that she's culled from her fashionable mother's wardrobe, she's from the Mainline! N'est-ce pas?
I'm not saying Tory isn't a wasp, but no one can replace Lilly.
Being from Texas would preclude him from being a WASP so "some people" yourself. Also he wears cowboy boots and cowboy hats (wasps do not own these items i can assure you).
And he is not a Protestant. They are Born-Agains. But it is more fun agitiating you all!!! toodles!!
Umm not a WASP but still preppy. Mexican and preppy are a great combination. I do enjoy reading this blog, great job Mel.

I do know if I see one more ballet flat with her logo on the toe, I may scream.
Her brand is nice but it has become so mainstream & that is usually when I stop liking something.
