Looks delicious. |
Beautiful! I'll check out his blog and the recipe. |
I have never seen floating islands like this before...very interesting, looks almost like angel food cake, thanks for the link to Frank's site... |
I love making this dessert! It's also delicious when made with chocolate custard. |
since i don't bake- |
That looks amazing. It would make a perfect breakfast for me this morning. |
Oh thank you for sharing! I recently tried Floating Island for the first time at Pastis. It was delicious! |
You're life intrigues me, it really does... I'd love to read more about what you do during the days... do you have a stylist who dresses you for these fab. events? (Because you always look spectacular). I feel a little better knowing that you have your dinner parties catered (LOL and yes, the desert looked incredible)... but boy... you do bring out my insecurities because everything seems so effortless! Good for you, though. Enjoy! I am addicted to your blog. |
Well, according to your Frank's entry Martha Stewart liked his creation so much that she featured it as the dessert for David Rockefeller's 90th birthday!!! |
What a delicious-looking dish! Frank is very talented - and to have received such kudos from Martha? Sounds like a dream come true! |
Hi Melissa, |
that looks so amazing. i checked out the recipe. it looks SO hard to make! i'll just have to drool over it from afar! thanks for sharing. |
It looks yummy! |
p.s... sorry for the typos... I did not mean to write "your Frank"... I had written "your caterer" and then changed it to Frank... ah.. |
I see from the "famed" Frank's blog that he has some pretty hateful political commentary. Doesn't really make me hungry for his dessert. |
Congrats to Mr. Picchione! Martha! Wow! -- lucky dog! |
Oh - that looks like it tastes heavenly! |
Oh no! I did indeed check out Frank's blog, and unfortunately also read the entry about the poor little doggy that arrived at the shelter having been thrown from a car! Oh man, I did not need to read that. That just broke my heart. Do you know if she got adopted? |
One of my favorite treats! Unfortunately..it's one of my thighs favorite treats too. |
Sounds absolutely divine!! |
Oooh! Thanks so much for this recipe - haven't eaten floating islands since I was a child when Claridge's had the loveliest version! |
