SMU got the NCAA "death penalty" for a lot less than Miami's series of assaults. At the barest minimum, the whole program should be under a probation that includes the "death penalty" for the next event like this - there certainly will be one.
Since there's basically no chance that the program will be held accountable, no one should be surprised when there are violent deaths at one or more future Miami games.

Well said. Well, well said. I can't believe the NCAA is happy with this event - why haven't they stepped in? Especially now that Shalala and Coker have proven themselves incapable of effectively cleaning their own house. What's the point of having a governing body if they won't govern?

Were you as outraged at the SoCar-Clemson fight? How about the USC-ND brawl years back, did they expel all the Notre Dame players? No?
If the ACC and NCAA agree with the punishments, don't you think your absurd reaction is slightly...over-the-top?
