Well, there is one classical liberal candidate, Wayne Allyn Root. Whether or not he makes it through the Libertarian National Convention is another matter.
Here's something I've been wondering about, being more of a media and campaign wonk than an economic one -- To what point is the slowdown in economic growth attributable to the fact the two remaining Democrat candidates vow to repeal the 2001 and 2003 tax cuts if elected, and the Republican nominee voted against the tax cuts and has a spotty record on growth? Is some of the slowdown due to investors holding back, given the good possibility the next president will be either a stridently anti-growth Democrat or a Republican with a strong record of overregulation?
