Oh, yes, I was told about this entry. I was told it was a good entry. I was told correctly.
And I wouldn't feel too bad about the "shut the fuck up" urge. The other day I told my kid that half of what she said was b.s. and the other half was a lie. And she spent the next 10 minutes chanting "bee ess! bee ess! bee ess!"
Little shit.

Yeah, I was all set to believe that Carl was going to avoid the "twos" altogether, when they apparently hit like a motherfucker this last month.
I got him home last night and turned on the news, only to have him start begging thirty seconds later to "watch the Bug Channel" (his phrase for A BUG'S LIFE), and when I wouldn't acquiesce, started pulling on my hand and screaming/crying/sobbing hysterically. And it's not the first time, either.
I'm just hoping he gets himself straightened out again by March, or we're gonna have a hell of a spring/summer.

Our Caroline was the most perfect baby. Never fussed, was content just to be in your presence. At about 20 months, the bi-polar kicked in. Now she is the most hearstrong, stubborn, opinionated, bossy, tantrum-throwing, overdramatic little 2 and a half year old ever. At least I hope she is as high as the scale gets.
We have two kids, 20 months apart. That is a good age gap, as they really play together now. Sometimes, I whisper to Ben "really whale on her. She needs a good ass-kicking right now."
