Gravatar I've made that exact maple granola recipe! Yum. I made it with toasted pecans though; we're not so much into the walnuts.

I love the thought of you making cheese in your suburban kitchen. If by any chance you decide to go for it, I've heard whole-milk mozzerella isn't horribly complicated or an unreasonable amount of work.

Gravatar Oh my God, I hope you still plan on wearing a bra.

Gravatar That sounds wonderful. I'll have to stop by the Kingstowne Farmers Market. We usually use the Arlington one on Columbia Pike, but sometimes the selection is scarce. I'm excited to try a new place.

Gravatar A few days ago I foraged wild garlic from my backyard and used it for dinner, then blogged about it. My 13-yo daughter is sooooo embarrassed.

Gravatar Oh my God, I hope you still plan on wearing a bra.

I don't.

Gravatar Have you tried much grass finished beef? Though it has more of the good Omega oil (6?)and less of the bad (3?) and more CLA compared to grain finished beef, it still has more and different fat.

I'm just saying that people say it tastes different, and wondered if you had similar reports.

Gravatar Shut up, Buzz. Let's get back to talking about Merseydote's tits.

Gravatar Reason #876 why I love Prurient.

Seriously, Merseydotes, if you find time to make cheese in your kitchen, I'm impressed -- and jealous. I'm lucky if I've got time to get to the grocery store to buy completely unhealthy processed foods, let alone make multiple stops.

Gravatar What a timely post, Mer. I was just thinking of writing you to see if you thought it was worth the money doing the farm co-op last year. Now I know the answer. I agree with you, I absolutely LOVE the Ktowne market! I can not wait for it to start this summer.

In terms of eggs and chicken, I just got several recommendations for South Mountain Creamery in MD. I think we are going to try it out for milk, eggs, cheese, etc.

Lastly, since you made your own granola, I thought I would share my recent recipe find--homemade granola bars (http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php? storyId=1630167. Yum!

Gravatar Sorry about the recipe link--not sure how the smiley face got in there. Here it is again:

Gravatar Sorry, I just cockblocked Purient.

Gravatar I'll let this pass, Buzz. THIS TIME.

Gravatar Katya, the smiley got in there because your link ended with an 8 followed by a ) and that turned into 8 ) (scrunch) which becomes
