Cool, thanks for passing it along. I have only really cooked once in like three weeks, just like Yum. (On the other hand, I have painted my PG-rated butt off lately.)
Wanted to point out that the local mega mart (h/t to Alton Brown) here in Lancaster carries creme fraiche a lot of the time. It's in the bin with the "fancy" cheeses. My point is that if they have it here, I bet you can find it with a little bit of effort just about anywhere.
