Here in SW Washington, torrential rains during winter are par for the course. That said, I hope this rain year isn't as wet as the last one. In January, we had a day in which we recorded almost one foot of rain and the total for the month was around two feet. Let me tell ya, that's a helluva lot of wah-wah. : )
RT - yep - I've spent some time on the Olympic peninsula, and have experienced the copious rain they get - I've never seen a place so green!
