Mike, I was delighted to see your generosity in sharing your teaching process. I am specifically interested in two parts of yur work that I think are very relevant.
1) The Exit Projects for Middle School in light of the availability of guided instructional field visits to Urban advantage schools and teachers.I would like to ask your permission to link this site to the one that will be developed for Urban advatage. What do you think?
2) AMNH has two upcoming exhibits that will provide you with opportunities for works on Evolution. In may we have an exhibits on the most recents discoveries related to dinosaurs and birds. In Late November we open an exhibit on Darwin. Lets see if we can organize a group of teacher whose work in this area can be included in the resources for teachers. Great job in the blog section. maritza macdonald | Email | Homepage | 01.23.05 - 3:16 pm | #

Thanks for the feedback, Maritza.
I would of course be happy to find myself linked from your website. I always encourage teachers to share their practices and experiences and believe it benefits both the individual and the profession.
I'm very excited to hear that you are opening a Darwin exhibit, I wish it were available now for my current crop of regents students. Let me know if I can help out in any way.
There's a recent article in Science Magazine concerning new evidence for the bird/dinosaur link, pertaining to which 3 particular "fingers" dinos & birds retained (as distinct from their 5 fingered vertebrate relatives). It was through a blog that I learned of this information:
