This is such a COOOL activity. I did one with jello-o and pine apples, but I dont think it was as elaborate and cool as this.

Annie: I don't know how you do the pineapple activity, but I've seen it as a demo, more or less - here's what happens when you add fresh pineapple to gelatin - it doesn't gel. What I liked immediately about this activity was the measurable outcome and the manipulation of a variable, with a richness that allows students to think about doing further investigations.
