MC, I'm sorry. I hope a resolution presents itself soon and that you can feel better about things. Even though you may have joked about a lot of stuff, you would never wish kidney failure on her. And you don't want her to suffer. You and D and the vet will figure out what's best for her.

Your daily frustrations are understandable, as is the guilt you feel today, as is the love you really do have for Jelly. I'm sorry it's such a mess. As you say, it really sucks. I have often wished my animals could live longer/have longer life spans. Take care.
