Wow, good for A, she's done really well. Probably will be a business owner for real some day! I hadn't heard of the Bali 9 before. Some of the minimum security prisons here are sort of like that. But not the regular ones, have heard they're grim.

I'm surprised by Bali's system of justice. Assuming that a person has money, for committing the same crime, a person either lives a relative life of luxury or is shot to death.

Sounds to me like there is no reason not to commit a crime. You get better treatment in prison then you get at home...
It does sound like a good way for Bali to make money and prisoners to support the economy--but at the end of the day you're still facing that death sentence....

Bonnie all classes have the same conditions, it just depends on how much money you have to spruce your cell up, and to bribe the jail staff.
Yep Dave is correct re firing squad, but if you're a lifer it's much better to be there than Australia. No way would the conditions come close.
