Legal Argument!

Yikes, I did not realize that you were in the path of that storm! Glad to hear that you are safe and that your house is still OK. Even when I lived (briefly) in Floriday, we never had a storm hit us or had to evacuate--very lucky, I know!

Gravatar We'll keep you in our thoughts. Everything is/will be fine.

Take care!

Gravatar Michelle;
I was wondering about you and thinking about you last night when I heard the news. I am so glad that you are o.k. and that your home is fine. Please keep us informed about how things are going. This hits me very close to home for a few reasons; I am a Red Cross emergency response volunteer and we also live in the oath of hurricanes; our season does not begin officially for many more months but I know the precise feeling that you describe. I pray for all those who were affected. Reconstruction takes a lot of time and can be a very unsettling time. We experienced this with Hurricane Juan. You will get through it. Prayers and Hugs.
Cathy

Gravatar I am so relieved to hear you and A made it through ok and haven't lost your home or livelihood.

Gravatar oh my goodness I had no idea!!
I am glad to hear this one went through ok for you. will ask for your safety and the safety of all during the next one.

My thoughts are with you and everyone.

Gravatar OMG Thankgod your Ok..I had no idea!

Gravatar Michelle, I'm so glad to hear you're ok. I didn't hear about this until 4 minutes ago when I logged online. I immediately started praying. I can't believe you took the time to log on and let us know you're ok, but I'm sure glad you did. I'll keep praying.

Gravatar glad you're OK. having been through two hurricanes myself, I know it's no picnic. in the USA we can get flood insurance but only through the government. when you buy a house, you know if you're in a flood designated area. I currently live a couple blocks from the Mississippi River which has been known to flood. But I'm safe on top of a big hill.

hang in there lady lawyer. keep your sense of humor through these trying times.

Gravatar So pleased you're OK. Keep safe.

Gravatar glad your ok... thought of you right away.

Gravatar I'm glad to hear that you and your family are safe.

Gravatar I'm so glad you and your family are safe. You're right, there are no words to express the sadness of other's loss. Here's hoping the best for those who endured the worst.

Gravatar Thankful to hear that you and A made it through. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your neighbors.

Gravatar Like PBS I didn't realise that you were so close to that storm. Thankfully you and A are fine.

Gravatar OMG! Glad you are all alright, praying that the next one is also a miss.

Gravatar i saw the pictures of cairns...scary stuff. i can't imagine what you've gone through in the last 48 hours. thank god you are ok.

keep the faith, we're pulling for you.

Gravatar Holy, cow, Michelle, I didn't even know about the impending cyclone until I logged in just now--I've been trying to catch up on stuff.

I am so glad you are okay but dismayed at what you and A had to go through. I know others have it worse but still I know it must've been an awful experience.

And I would help you with that chainsaw on the roof, let me tell you! Insurance companies--ARRRRGH.

We're sending lots of hugs and good vibes and big time prayers your way. Stay safe.

Gravatar Hey Michelle, glad to hear you are safe. I had emailed Madi for news on your welfare, and she has filled me in too. Thank goodness you were not in the direct firing line. HOpefully the next one stays away, or as you said, crosses at an unpopulated place. You must be so tired. Hope you catch up on sleep, and get back to normality. Take care, we are thinking of you. Bye for now, Meow xx

Gravatar I’m so glad Cyclone Larry didn’t do you extreme damage and I, too, feel compassion for those who did suffer losses. I pray that Cyclone Wati will decide to make a turn to some uninhabited area to blow itself out.

Gravatar So happy you're safe! Continue to keep us informed.

Gravatar Thanks EP, will do

Thanks Nick appreciate your prayers

Meow, thanks heaps for your concern Madi told me that you were in touch...thanks means alot

Trust me Bonnie, i'd accept the help with the chainsaw!! Damn insurance pigs, you pay the premiums and can't use them.
Thanks for the hugs and prayers, can sure use them

Rudder thanks heaps. You have to have a sense of humour in these times Interesting with your insurance. It is common knowledge what insurance covers you for here, it just hurts knowing that you've payed a lot of money for a policy...had your home destroyed and because it came from the ground up you get zero

Cassie, thanks so much, it's wonderful to know others are praying for you

Heidi, it all happened so quickly! One minute it was a low next thing i'm packing bags and valuables ready to evacuate!
