Scary stuff ... looks like there has been lots of devastation from Innisfail inland. Hope the next one doesn't do anything evil. So glad you guys missed out on the madness, and that you are all safe. My neighbours here have rellies in Tully ... they've lost the lot, although they are still alive, thank goodness. Property can be repaired, lives cannot. Take care of yourselves. Meow xx

The fact that no one was killed is a testament to the preparedness on the part of the Australians. I am so glad to hear that you are fine but can only imagine what this is doing to people psychologically. Let's hope the next one stays out to sea.

Cathy, i am surprised no one was killed too. It appears we are prepared, and the govt is actually doing something for a change to help.
PBS, as you know, it was/is very scary indeed.
