As unpopular as it may be nowadays to say you liked Titanic, I totally agree with you and say they deserved any Oscar they won back then and if I'd ever get the chance to grab my videotape and sit through those 3 hours I'd cry at the end again.
My favourite in the movie was Fabrizio, Leonardo's Italian buddy. Stupid chimney fell on him.
I haven't seen 'Beaches' in a thousand years, but I remember my sister and I watching it over and over and I always cried at the end. I can never listen to 'Wind beneath my wings' without choking up. Or 'You are my sunshine.'

Except that in reality, they never let John Nash give a Nobel speech because he was crazy, but he did give a little talk at Princeton:

Sorry to say I'm w/Scott on Titanic - I have no interest in ever seeing it. Bawled at Beaches though, and at Beautiful Mind, but more at the part in the facility where his wife is watching, & just thinking about all she went through for him....
That picture just made me cry. I know that's ridiculous. It's just... I dunno. Looking at it, you just see love. If you could see it, I mean, it would be there. I can't write it
