You're not evil. At some point everyone starts feeling better when they have been grieving, and probably all of them feel guilty when they start feeling better. You loved your kitty, but the fact that you aren't holed up in your room crying about him for the next month does not take away from that.
And that whole Tom Cruise/Brooke Shields thing? Yeah, Tom Cruise is a whack job. I like some of the stuff Brooke has said in response (like she was going to leave two tickets for her show at Will Call for Tom - one adult and one child). Don't even get me started on Scientology. Aliens - *shudder*.
