No offense, but if my MD were this fascinated with pop culture I'd be pretty freaked out. Yes, I want him to have a good sense of humor and some kind of humanist aspect, I guess. No, I do not want him to be thinking about Nicole Richie's opinion of Cameron Diaz. That's more the kind of tripe I'd enjoy hearing from y hairdresser.

Yes, I'm a medical student - first year, just finished my third week. We're supposed to have avocations - otherwise, you'll be nuts. I'm not thinking about Nicole Richie in class, only during a study break. Just so you know.
