I am so sorry Kim for the bad luck .
I don't see any dad Lucas genes in that picture,so I guess we'll blame your mom's genes.
One thing's for certain though, she'd suffer her pain and yours if it were possible.
I had a taste of what you go through when my gall bladder decided to blow up when Mom was sick, so I understand and feel for you.
Hang in there. Maybe you'll be the one to find a cure

I do believe it is your pancreas, although, it could be your splenic artery but I don't think it connects with the aorta.
I always thought the coolest picture in your office would always be an MRI of your brain. you know?
It would put a diploma to shame...oh, what is that?....that's my brain!

Wait, the splenic artery doesn't come off of the celiac trunk? Everything I know (knew, or should have studied harder) is wrong.
