Girl i feel your pain with the whole nurse/doctor thing. Whenever my hospital group goes to see a patient, they always think i'm a nurse, or worse yet... a "doctor's" girlfriend?!?! As if you'd bring your girlfriend to class?!? My group has 6 people, 4 of which are guys, me, and this other girl. The guys get called "Doctor" even though we're in 1st yr still, and i get, "Maam, miss, etc. " HA!!! At least it's not as bad as the other girl, they call her,"little asian girl." crazy.

Hey, I'm just a random person. Saying "You don't understand" can be rather insulting. You are pretty much just dismissing the chance that they comprehend a situation, or that they even have the possibility to comprehend.
Even if this isn't what you meant, it is very easy to interpret it that way.

Hey there! I know it's been a while - I *do* understand being busy, frazzled or just plain enjoying way too many things in life to be able to keep up with them all! I also understand the doctor/nurse thing; well, I know it happens, but I don't really understand why. Like, at Purdue I was a math major in the School of Science. The School of Education is like a whole other, separate college, which non-Purdue folk don't get in the 1st place, which makes this analogy somewhat moot. Regardless... I'd tell people I was a math major (not a math education major) and they'd go, "So you want to teach?" Sigh. Again, not that it's a bad thing to be a math teacher *at all,* but it's extremely not me.
Happy Blog-iversary!! Woo-hoo!!
