Nice rant. I've been thinking and saying much of the same for years. There is a big difference between dying for your faith and killing for it.

What I find interesting is how much more violent radical Muslims are when compared to radical Christians. Other than a time in the 80’s when there were attacks on abortion clinics and doctors, radical Christians are pretty much non-violent. So what has caused the radical Muslim movement to become so violent? I would love to hear theories.

It doesn't equal fundamental Hinduism, Buhdism, or any other ism.
I do not recall reports of any other religions have serious worldwide problems with other faiths.
If you lived in a neighborhood where one family got in fights with every other family, but none of the other families fought each other.
What conclusion would you draw?

I would, however, like to point out that Islamic Fundamentalist != terrorist. Just as Christian fundamentalist != Crusaders, the evolution of the Nazi party, Spanish Inquisition, or Timothy McVeigh.
Muhammad, when read by your average Fundamentalist of Islam, also preaches peace - in fact, they also revere Jesus and consider the New Testament to be of great importance. It hardly seems fair to use a few evil men to denigrate the beliefs of an entire religion.
Also, I saw a movie clip of Jesus Camp on YouTube. I, personally, found it to be rather disturbing - and I have experience with normal Church camps.
