I think you'll be an awesome doctor, but perhaps you should avoid concentrating in areas with a lot of instant response needed, like emergency med. I never responded but I prayed and sympathized when I read you got the eeeevil cruise ship GI virus! It has a name but I can't remember; anyway it hit a restaurant here, one right by the big mall a couple weeks before Christmas! A few hundred people got sick, & of course the restaurant lost all their holiday business as they were closed a while. Our family got it at Thanskgiving a few years ago; one person had it before & within 3 days I think all but one or two (of 20 or so people), plus a couple of their family members/roommates, had it as well! Nasty, nasty thing. So sorry!

Congrats on the family baby! Our nephews left Wed. and I won't see them again for at least a year.
