Gravatar Hehe sounds like the time I told the parents "its a boy" (it definitely was, no ambiguous genitalia) and was castigated in front of them for disturbing the sacred moment. The midwife at the previous birth had violated the moment by doing that same thing so I had assumed it was ok. Lesson #453 - never assume anything and if in doubt say nothing.

Then I was told off for giving the next patient a hot water bottle for pain relief (which a midwife the day before had told me was a good thing to do).

(I apologised to the first set of parents. They were quite ok with it and didn't feel that their parenting experience had been ruined by me. Whew!!!).

Gravatar Now now--You'll look back on this experience as some of the best times of your life.

Gravatar Yeah. Just wait til you get that big doctor mansion, a $2000.00 house payment, a couple crumb crunchers of your own, and an unemployed husband. Now really is good times.

P.S. Just kidding, Dingbat. You'll do well.
