I am sorry your rotation is so hateful! Although I loved mine (both in Israel, and the US elective I am doing now), I do know that despite being interested and invested in a rotation, nothing you do will make up for a bad atmosphere. They are probably miserable there themselves, and can only relate to other people by making them miserable as well. They probably don't hate you, but are just in the habit of giving off hateful vibes.
I think your experiece in Ob/Gyn is similar to what happened to me in surgery. It was a miserable department. The residents were overworked and if you looked closely, often on the verge of tears. We were just extra work for them. We would walk into the OR and people would turn around and scream "leave! close the door!". We would ask a question and would actually be told "please, please, go away. Just go away."
I knew it wasn't personal, but I couldn't help taking it that way. I was looking forward to learning surgery, and was disappointed that there wasn't anyone willing to teach me anything. I was worried about my grade, but wound up getting a good ward grade and an excellent evaluation. I didn't do well on the written or the oral though, perhaps reflecting both the level of frustration I had reached and the fact that I probably didn't learn as much as I should have.
All of this is to say, keep your chin up. I know that even though you know it's not personal, it feels personal. You will be fine, and so will your grade.
I think you will love peds. You seem like a pediatrician to me.

How about a pharmacist? Why do you have to be an MD. Pharms seems happy and content. You wouldn't be throwing away your training thus far. I understand they have more medical knowledge than docs. Just a suggestion, just trying to help.
I really don't have a clue on all the medical rotation stuff, but I just wanted to comment on the guts (good thing) that you have to write what you feel. Because I chose not to stay anonymous, I can only write very generic things. Otherwise, I could get ostracized from school, jobs, or both.

Well, it's official. Kim has died from stress, been disposed of, and her insurance collected, just like last time we didn't hear from her for OVER A MONTH! And I was counting on her to say I was disabled because of my meth addiction and help me get on disability. Guess I have to work from now on and make an honest living. SHAZBOT!
I give up. This is like the boy who cried wolf.
