Thanks for raising this very important issue. Apart from knowing exactly where the money is going, we need to be reassured, urgently, that we none of it is funding terrorism. I suspect that it is.
I have felt for a long time that the Charity Commission is yet another 'not fit for purpose' outfit.

I would keep running with this, and try and give it wider publicity. Labour is very nervous about offending Islam, because it relies on inner city votes

Removing all government funding for Muslim organisations is the stick we should be using to get some damned co-operation from these "moderates". Keep plugging away - I'll be doing the same.

I've sometimes wondered abou the feasibility of a law preventing the government from paying any monies to any corporate body except in fair exchange for goods or services received. It would prevent all sorts of corrupt practice if you could word it tightly enough.

Wat, This is a great line of attack. That said have you written to the Charity Commission? It is no good us just talking to ourselves. We need to reach out and hold government and other bodies to account. For myself I am currently chasing London Speed Camera Safety Partnersip to publish their accounts. They stop at 2002/3.
