Are these true costs the reason that the government has continued to delay on announcing the new nuclear programme I wonder...

I have been trying to keep some sort of understanding on these figures. As it stands today, I believe Gordon Brown has run up a debt for PFI "jobs"
of about £1600Billion to £2000Billion.
I do have a copy of one of these contracts and it would not be out of place to say that they are in fact a bit of a fraud.
The copy I have describes a Hospital Building costing £129Million. When it is built and handed over, it is re-financed and an additional £100Million
is added.Total= £229Million. In 2006. First Re-Financing. Added Cost, £116Million.Total Cost to date. £345Million.
This fraud goes on until 2061 and then it is open to another period of Financing with No End date even mentioned. In 2061, it is estimated that the Hospital will have cost the TaxPayers £1400 to £1600. In addition there is an annual "Usage Charge", of £37.6Million this payment assessed and
updated and adjusted yearly.
When all of this is added up, a £100Million Hospital will have cost the Poor Bloody TaxPayer at the very least, £2000Million. Regards, ATFlynn.
