The corruption in the EU is never highlighted enough. People have talked for years about the single currency, the CAP, voting rights blah blah blah, but the media seem to be uninterested in the blatant corruption.

Buddy can you spare a Euro. Start placing bets on when we join the EMU. The media have been full of it this morning. "falls from 1.5 to 1.25". They have forgotten when it was 1.7 euros to the pound!

It may just be a coincidence...but...it seems there are loads of French connections there. It has always been rumoured that the EU was created primarily to keep the French happy.
